We first visited Aberdeen after winning the Grampian Police account; we built their first careers site and managed support staff and police recruitment. Regular trips to Aberdeen encouraged us to seek out new business opportunities in the area, our first oil and gas client being KCA Deutag.

Our involvement with companies such as KCA Deutag and Weatherford introduced us to a whole new area of business in an industry which was new to us but which we found extremely interesting. Over the years our knowledge of the industry has increased, and with this so has our client base, which leads us to our position today - a York based agency with a 75% client base in Aberdeen and an unrivalled knowledge of the industry and recruitment media.

Meet the Aberdeen Account Management Team

Sean O’Connor
Sean is our Managing Director and founder. He headed the Recruitment Advertising team at the Yorkshire Post before becoming a Director of a Leeds-based advertising agency. He founded O’Connor in 1994 and has worked with Oil & Gas clients in Aberdeen for over 10 years.

Annie Greenfield-Edwards
Annie first came to O’Connor as a 16 year old, undertaking work experience from the local school. She was determined then to work in advertising and, after her work experience, set her sights on securing a job at O’Connor. She joined us three years ago and has developed into an experienced Media Planner/Buyer and Account Director, focused mainly on the Oil & Gas sector.
